What you'll need (Guyana)
To drive with Kimtech in Guyana, you must meet local road and licensing rules. Have these ready and your application can be reviewed faster.
- Valid Guyana driver's licence for the class of vehicle you'll use (motorcycle, car, van, or pickup)
- Government-issued photo ID (National ID or Guyanese passport)
- Minimum age 18 for motorcycles, 21 for cars, vans, and pickups
- Current GRA vehicle registration and a valid fitness certificate
- Active motor insurance — at minimum third-party cover under the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act
- Hire-car (HC) plate required for passenger rides; private (P) or commercial (G) plate accepted for parcel delivery
- Vehicle in safe, roadworthy condition — working lights, brakes, mirrors, horn, and number plate clearly visible
- Helmet (riders) and seat belts (drivers) for you and any passenger, as required by Guyana law
- Smartphone with mobile data for the driver app and navigation
- Local bank account or MMG for weekly payouts
- Clean police clearance / Certificate of Character (may be requested during review)
