The Care & Comfort network
Care & Comfort is a standing network of women drivers and trained care companions across Guyana. Members are contracted trip by trip: they keep their own vehicle and their own hours, and our dispatch desk sends them the jobs that fit the area they work in, the skills they told us about, and the checks we hold on file.

You apply on our driver page and tell us whether you are a woman driver, which care skills you have, and the areas you want work in.

We verify your licence and insurance and read the police clearance certificate you upload. No profile is marked care-verified before someone on our team has actually looked at it.

Once the checks are done we tag your profile for Care & Comfort work. Care bookings are only ever offered to drivers carrying that tag.

Care jobs in your area reach you first. You take the trips that suit you, and you can switch care work off whenever you are not available.

You are paid per trip. The assistance and on-site waiting time a family was quoted are recorded on the job, so the extra help you gave shows up in what you are owed.

How a care trip runs

- 4She waits on site, collects prescribed medication with them if needed, and brings them home.
- 5You get a message when the trip is finished.
Good to know
- • Care companions provide company, mobility help and safe transport. They are not a substitute for a nurse, doctor or emergency service.
- • On-site waiting time is charged per started hour from the agreed arrival time.
- • A woman driver is matched wherever one is on duty in the area. If none is available, dispatch tells you before the trip and the priority match fee is not charged.
- • Anyone handling a care escort or errand run holds a current police clearance on file with us.
- • Call 913 or your nearest emergency service for a medical emergency — this is a booked transport service, not an ambulance.
